The short version

The QR you see and download is built in your browser. The one exception is a small background check: when you use the generator, the page also sends the address (not the token name or amounts) to our server, which re-verifies the checksum with the same rules and counts how many cards get made per network. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.

What happens on your device

  • The address you paste, the network you choose and the token name you type stay in the page's memory, except for the address copy used by the background check described above.
  • The QR code and card image are generated by your browser. Downloading saves the file straight to your device.

What our hosting provider sees

Like every website, our host receives standard request data when the page loads (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested). It's used to serve the site and protect it from abuse. The background address check arrives as a normal request too; we keep only the address string for a short period as part of that counter, then it's gone.

Fonts

Fonts load from Google Fonts. Google receives a standard request for the font files, which doesn't include anything you type.

Cookies and tracking

TokenQR sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first.
