1Choose your token
2Choose the network

Use the network your wallet or exchange shows next to your deposit address.

Not sure which network?

Open the app where you want to receive the money and go to Deposit or Receive. It names the network above the address. Choose the same one here.

If the sender gets to choose, pick a network both of you support. TRON is common for low fees; ERC-20 works with almost every exchange.

About USDT on BNB Smart Chain

BEP-20 is the token standard on BNB Smart Chain. Fees are low and paid in BNB by the sender, so it's a common choice between exchanges and wallets that support it.

BNB Smart Chain addresses are identical in format to Ethereum addresses: 0x plus 40 characters. A wallet can't tell from the address alone which network you meant. This is the most common way USDT gets sent to the wrong place, and it's the reason the card puts BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) in a bright band above the code.

Before sharing, confirm that your exchange or wallet listed BEP-20 or BNB Smart Chain for this address. If it says ERC-20, use the ERC-20 page instead.

Questions people ask

Is BEP-20 the same as ERC-20?

No. They are different networks with the same address format. Tokens sent on one don't appear on the other.

Do I need BNB to receive USDT BEP-20?

No. The sender pays the fee in BNB. You'll need a little BNB later to send USDT from a self-custody wallet.

Can my MetaMask or Trust Wallet address receive BEP-20?

Yes, your 0x address works on BNB Smart Chain. Switch the wallet to BNB Smart Chain to see the balance.

Why does the card say BEP-20 so loudly?

Because the QR code itself can't. The network label is what tells the sender how to pay you.
