About USDT on TRON
TRC-20 is the token standard on the TRON blockchain, and USDT on TRON is one of the most used stablecoin routes because transfers are cheap. TRON addresses always start with a capital T and are 34 characters long.
Every TRON address ends with a built-in checksum. TokenQR verifies it as you paste, so a single wrong character is caught before the QR code exists.
Receiving is free
The sender pays the network fee in TRX. You don't need TRX to receive USDT. You will need some TRX (or staked energy) later if you want to send that USDT on.
TRON addresses can't receive USDT sent over Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain. If your sender only offers ERC-20 or BEP-20, make an ERC-20 or BEP-20 card instead, using the matching address from your wallet.
