About USDC networks

USDC is a dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Circle. It runs on many networks, and exchanges usually let you deposit it on several of them. Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain all use the same 0x address format, while Solana addresses are 32 to 44 letters and numbers.

Because so many USDC networks share one address format, the network label on your card does the important work. TokenQR checks the address format for the network you pick, and verifies the EIP-55 checksum on mixed-case 0x addresses.

Which USDC network should I choose?

The one shown next to your deposit address. If you're setting up a new wallet and the sender can choose, lower-cost networks such as Solana or Base are popular. Ethereum is the most widely supported.

Questions people ask

Is USDC on Solana the same as USDC on Ethereum?

It's the same dollar value, but on a different network. Each needs an address from that network, and transfers between them go through an exchange or a bridge.

Can I use my Ethereum address for USDC on Base?

A self-custody 0x address works on Base too. On an exchange, use the address shown when you choose Base as the deposit network.

Can I put an amount in a USDC QR code?

TokenQR keeps token QR codes as plain addresses, because that's what every wallet reads reliably. The sender enters the amount.

Is USDC available on TRON?

Circle stopped supporting USDC on TRON, so TokenQR doesn't offer it. Use one of the listed networks.
